He is to get solid food today. If he keeps doing well there is a good chance that he will be going home tomorrow.

They then had to find someone in the hospital to put in another one, cause no one on the floor could get it. Well she come in and put it in and left as she was getting off work. They then started the blood and about 30 mins into it, the vein blew and his are sweelled up where the blood was just going under the skin. It would seem that in this large of a hosptal that there is NO that is trained to put an IV in people that are considered “hard stick”. So they said they are just going to wait till tomorrow. God forbid that a “hard stick” person needs and IV for and emergancy, cause they would just be SOL tonight.

Dad seems to be doing a little bit better this morning, he has had 2 BM’s and does not seem to be as gassey as he was yesterday. He has been up walking and they are going to start giving him some liquids.

Each time we went a little futher. He was in some pain with his knee so we finnaly got him to take a shot to help ease it. He seems to be resting now which is good. Still dealing with gas but we are hoping it will get better.
